Roatan Diving
Diving in Roatan's tropical waters -
Tranquilseas has it's own Padi dive shop and diving school onsite, offering fantastic local diving and dive safaris across many dive sites around Roatan.
Tranquilseas also runs Padi diving courses, so if you are looking to learn and gain your first diving qualification, or looking to advance; Tranquilseas is the perfect base for your diving adventure.

Snorkeling in Roatan
Snorkeling in Roatan's crystal waters, first class snorkeling can be enjoyed right off of our private dock.
Only a few steps and you will be enjoying an incredible reef, there is a beautiful variety of marine life in the shallows from Sergeant Majors, to Octopus to Cushion Se Stars, snorkeling on your doorstep doesn't come any better!

Kayaking in Roatan
Kayaking is available straight off of the beach at Tranquilseas, explore the crystal blue waters of Cahoon Bit.
Paddle through the calm waters and explore our peaceful yet exciting shoreline.

Windsurfing
Windsurf in Sandy Bay, Roatan!
Tranquilseas is very lucky to have a windsurfing school as a next door neighbour.
The school has 60 boards for all skills and levels. As well as having various courses you can take part in, windsurf hire is also available.
Open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 17:00 hours and prices start at around $20

Fishing on Roatan
This is great for fly fishing on Roatan, in fact fishing guides bring visitors to our lagoon for world class flats fishing, Permit, Jacks, Bone Fish and Barracuda are just some of the species you can fly fish for.
Remember we are located within the Roatan Marine Park so good practices and catch and release are a must. Make sure you bring your camera to take a shot of your prize catch.
Your Roatan fishing trip will be personally catered for by Pescado fishing of Roatan and we are more than happy to arrange this for you ready when you arrive on Roatan.
Roatan Institute of Deepsea Exploration
You have the rare opportunity to travel in a one-of-a-kind machine to another world and come face-to-face with life forms beyond imagination.
Captain Karl Stanley's deep diving submarine Idabel, based on the Caribbean island of Roatan, Honduras, is the greatest underwater adventure in the world.
Idabel will take you deeper into the unexplored Cayman Trench than most people have ever ventured— illuminating depths down to 2,000 feet (610 meters) below the surface. Through the submarine's large plexiglass viewing bubble you will see a wide variety of deep sea animal life rarely encountered by humans.
Idabel docks at Half Moon Bay in West End, Roatan, in the Bay Islands of Honduras, but Tranquilseas can arrange a trip for you if you wish. More information about the Roatan Institute of Deepsea Exploration can be found at their website.
